We check air filter and intake dust loading, look for grit damage to CV boots and suspension bushes, and inspect the underbody and sills for stone chipping and the surface corrosion that follows once the coating is broken.
The descents around the gorge and the ridge roads north of Dural are among the steepest sustained grades in northern Sydney. Where the seller consents to a road test we use a genuine descent, which reveals brake fade, pedal travel changes when hot, and transmission behaviour on engine braking — none of which appear on flat ground.

Where the car is registered and insured and the seller consents, yes — and here we would want it to. The ridge roads and gorge descents around Dural show brake fade, hot pedal travel and engine-braking behaviour that flat suburban roads simply cannot produce.
Only for where we work. A shed usually means poor and uneven light, which makes paint-depth interpretation and panel-gap comparison harder. We ask for the vehicle to be moved onto open, level ground outside for the body and underbody assessment; everything else is unaffected.
Yes. The EV and hybrid battery health assessment is a $199 add-on to any tier and is performed at the vehicle, reading pack data directly rather than inferring health from the dashboard range estimate. The result is reported as a state-of-health figure with the underlying data attached.
No. We arrange access with the seller, attend and report to you. Comprehensive and Elite reports are issued on site before the inspector leaves; Essential reports are delivered the same day, and the inspector is available afterwards to talk through the findings.
