Mobile vs workshop

NRMA offers both. Their mobile inspection is a subset of their workshop inspection — a hoist-based check is deeper than what any inspector can do in a driveway, whichever company you use.

Aussie Auto Care is fully mobile across greater Sydney. We come to the seller's driveway, dealer forecourt or auction yard. We use portable ramps and creepers so an inspector can view the underbody thoroughly, but we cannot replicate a full hoist inspection. Common questions

Is NRMA better because they're bigger?

Does either company inspect at auction?

Yes — both offer inspections at Manheim, Pickles and Grays yards. Pre-book two business days ahead as viewing windows are tight.

Will an NRMA report be accepted by my dealer for negotiation?
