Paint depth gauge
An electronic tool that measures paint film thickness to detect repaints and filler.
Factory paint is typically 90–140 microns. Readings above 250 microns indicate a repaint; above 500 microns indicate body filler. We measure paint depth on every panel of every PPI — undisclosed accident damage halves a car's resale value and is the single most common finding.
