That is what a road test needs — vibration, wheel balance, torque-converter lock-up and brake shudder appear under load, not on the way to the shops. Where the car is registered and insured and the seller consents, we use that leg and return the car to the address.
Most of 2224 is detached housing with a driveway and often a carport or double garage. That gives daylight, level ground for safe jacking and enough space to stand back from a panel — the conditions paint-depth readings and panel-gap comparison actually need. We ask that the car be rolled out of the garage rather than assessed inside it.
