The current usable capacity of an EV battery as a percentage of its original rated capacity.
A 5-year-old Tesla Model 3 with an original 75 kWh battery might now hold 67 kWh — a SoH of 89%. SoH directly determines real-world range and resale value. Most EV warranties cover degradation to 70% SoH within 8 years. Our battery add-on assesses supported vehicle data. SoH may be a BMS readout or a model-based estimate, depending on the method; it describes condition at the test date, not guaranteed future range.
