The current usable capacity of an EV battery as a percentage of its original rated capacity.
A 5-year-old Tesla Model 3 with an original 75 kWh battery might now hold 67 kWh — a SoH of 89%. SoH directly determines real-world range and resale value. Most EV warranties cover degradation to 70% SoH within 8 years. We measure SoH via flash testing (AVILOO-compatible) on every booking that includes the EV / Hybrid Battery Test add-on — workshops can't do this with a basic scan tool.
