NSW Compliance
eSafety check (NSW)
The annual safety inspection NSW requires for most vehicles 5+ years old before re-registration.
An eSafety check (formerly known as a 'pink slip') is required to renew rego on most light vehicles older than 5 years in NSW. It's a roadworthy/safety inspection (brakes, tyres, suspension, lights, steering, body) and the result is uploaded electronically to Transport for NSW. Aussie Auto Care does not currently offer standalone eSafety inspections — book any AIS (Authorised Inspection Scheme) station via Service NSW.
