Odometer wind-back
Tampering with the odometer to show fewer kilometres than the vehicle has actually done.
Modern digital odometers can be wound back with $300 of tooling. We cross-check odometer against service-stamp readings, registration history (TfNSW records mileage on each pink slip) and component wear. Wind-back is criminal fraud and a hard walk-away.
